STEAM is an immersive educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics through collaborative, project-based learning experiences. It is the intentional weaving of academic study – typically math, science, social studies and languages with arts disciplineserasing the traditional dividing lines between subjects and areas enabling the learners to combine concepts and knowledge from across different disciplines to create deeper understanding and solve real world problems through meaningful, engaged learning.

STEAM education is about more than developing practical skills alone. It also helps learners develop the 21st century skills like problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication skills, technology skills, perseverance, etc. It empowers them to be curious learners seeking creative solutions to problems, leading to develop their soft and hard skills necessary to succeed in the future workplaces.

STEAM concepts can be very easily integrated into the everyday teaching learningright from the primary levelby employing simple activities. With today’s technological advancements, it’s more crucial than ever for learners to learn through the integration of arts and science. And they learn better when they have hands-on experience and are given the opportunity to experiment with a variety of subjects. It allows them to connect with the subject and engage in physical effort, encouraging them to improve.

By engaging students in the literacy and skills of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, DPVN CBSEprepares the learners with knowledge and skills forhigher levels of education and professional efficiency in the world of tomorrow.

We ensure that our learners benefit every day from innovative approaches to curriculum and teaching that use real-world, interdisciplinary learning experiences.
