DPVN celebrated its 3rd Annual Fest, on 2nd March 2023, Thursday, at HMCT Auditorium, Nerul. The event was graced by the most respected Chief Guest, Mrs Shivani V Patil, Honourable Vice President, D Y Patil Group and other esteemed dignitaries.
With the encouragement of the Honourable Management, and immaculate orchestration of our respected Principal Ma’am, the team DPVN came up with two most interesting themes for their Annual Fest. The first part of the event was designed and executed by the Pre-Primary Wing where they brought in the magic of the classic tale, Beauty and the Beast, alive with their mesmerizing musical, dance and dramatic performances. The latter part of the Fest saw the learners and educators of Grade 1 onwards teaming up to present the ideal world through their theme of One World, One Dream. Among the values depicted were the traits of Peace, Love, Teamwork, Unity, Dream and Hope to draw a beautiful picture of the world that we all desire.
The highlight of the day was the unveiling of the School Magazine, Inspiria 2022-23, by the respected Principal Ma’am.

ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

The winners of DPVN Kids showed us that with the right attitude and self-belief, they have got the edge that results in victory. Towards the end of the session, it is time for us to acknowledge and appreciate the courage with which they embraced each challenge and came out winners. One of the highly admired educationists of the our age, and a notable leader, our respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs Ashu Rana, has given us all one vision that unifies our learners’ dreams and inspires them to accomplish fulfilment.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2022-23

“Physical toughness and mental health are both improved by participating in sports.”

DPVN Champions 2022-23, the Annual Sports Meet of DPVN CBSE, brought one of the most awaited events of the academic session in the brightest of colors with our learners, staff members and parents participating whole-heartedly displaying their superlative qualities of strength, determination, resilience and team-spirit. One of the highlights of the event was the gracious presence of the most respected Chief Guest, Mrs Shivani V Patil, Honorable Vice-President, D Y Patil Group. Under the meticulous harmonization and well-oriented guidance of our respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs Ashu Rana, the tireless efforts of our staff-members, rigorous hard work of our learners and undying support of our parents united to create an extraordinary spectacle of sportsmanship through DPVN Champions 2022-23

EARTH DABBING ACTIVITY

Creativity is intelligence having fun.

The little masters of Senior KG showcased their care and concern for the earth through their creativity of cotton dabbing and paper petal sticking. Our well-planned curriculum under the meticulous orchestration of our respected Principal Ma’am is designed to inculcate an overall awareness and result-oriented outlook for a sustainable future.

GRADUATION DAY

Graduation is a time to celebrate new beginnings and say goodbye to everything that has given you a reason to smile. It cherishes the warm memories of the past and gives wings to the big dreams for the future.”

The tiny tots of DPVN Kids celebrated the DPVN Kids Graduation Day 2022-23 on 29th March 2023, Wednesday, with great fervour and gaiety to applaud the young enthusiastic learners of Sr. Kg ready to take the big leap to Grade I.

The occasion was graced by our most Respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Ashu Rana. The parents of the little learners of DPVN Kids attended the ceremony as our invited guests and encouraged the learners.

The new-age dynamic leader, our most respected Principal Ma’am, addressed the audience highlighting the vision of the school and role of parents and teachers in the students’ learning process. It was an enriching experience for all of us. 

The tiny tots left everybody spell bound as they danced on tunes of some vibrant music displaying breath taking colours with coordinated movements that also set the tone and mood of the atmosphere at an all-time high. The graceful dancers of kindergarten performed wonderfully and made the evening remarkable for all of us.

The most important part of the day was the felicitation of young graduates with the Certificates of Graduation wherein the delighted future citizens of kindergarten, dressed in Graduation robes and capes, walked on the stage and thanked their teachers for their kind cooperation and support at every step.

 

OUR COMMUNITY, OUR HEROES

DPVN Kids is committed to provide a strong foundation of a well-rounded curriculum for the holistic development of the learners. Our tiny pre-schoolers of Junior KG were encouraged to think more closely and appreciate all of the people in their community who work to keep them safe and healthy as a part of their activity-based learning program. They got the opportunity to interact with the community helpers and realized the importance of sharing of responsibilities.

FRUIT SALAD DRESSING ACTIVITY

Salad dressing was a hands-on experiential activity by the tiny Master Chefs of DPVN Kids. The little learners engaged in imagining, exploring and creating different structures, shapes and designs to decorate a plate of salad. Through this event, they were able to showcase their basic skills in cooking. With the guidance of the 21st century educator and leader in our respected Principal Ma’am, DPVN Kids provides a multitude of opportunities for our next gen global citizens to reach their fullest potential.

74TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

“A thoughtful mind, when it sees a nation’s flag, sees not the flag, but the nation itself.”

A tribute to the Motherland was paid by the little learners of DPVN Kids just hours before our 74th Republic Day on 25th January 2023, Wednesday, with various creative craft activities highlighting the Indian Flag and the true value of the Tricolour. The educators introduced the tiny Indians-in-making to a new dimension of their identity through videos and discussions on the principles that this great nation stands embodies.

With faith in our hearts and independence in our thoughts, let’s salute the Nation. Happy Republic Day!

MAKAR SANKRANTI ACTIVITY

Makar Sankranti, Lohri and Pongal- the festivals of sun and harvest emerged in fabulous flavors and vivid colours on 13th January 2023, Friday, in DPVN Kids through the active, purposeful engagement of the enthusiastic learners. Tiny tots were excited to learn the significance of the festivals and enjoyed the day with a touch of creativity through kite making activity.

EYE CHECK UP CAMP

At DPVN, we focus on the holistic well-being of our learners. Being guided by the philanthropic principle of our Honorable Management, we organized a free eye check-up camp for the students in the school premises on 5th January 2023 in association with D Y Patil Hospital and Research Centre. With the active involvement of the expert medical professionals of D Y Patil Hospital and Research Centre, the camp proved to be very useful for our little learners and provided guidance to the parents regarding maintaining the health of their wards’ eyes.

With an immaculate eye for the comprehensive welfare of the DPVN family, our respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs Ashu Rana directs us towards fulfilled state to deliver excellence.

CHRISTMAS ACTIVITY

Bringing in the Joy of Christmas at DPVN Kids “Peace on earth will come to stay, when we live Christmas every day.” Tiny tots of DPVN Kids doubled the joy and happiness of Christmas with their heart-melting smiles and innocent imaginations. The special Christmas celebration for them included the story of the birth of Jesus Christ and a fun-filled exciting session of making paper crafts as take aways. DPVN Kids wishes a merry Christmas to you and your family!

FIELD TRIP TO MANGO GARDEN

At DPVN Kids we strive to nurture the curiosity of the little learners as they explore and experience the world around them. As a part of our experiential learning program, the tiny tots of Grades Nursery and Junior KG visited the Mango Garden on 24th November 2022, Thursday.

The educational trip brought the classroom topic to life and gave them the opportunity to learn with fun.

FIELD TRIP TO FIRE STATION FIRE EXTINGUISHER

At DPVN Kids, we provide the learners opportunities to engage with the world outside their classrooms and learn with real life experiences. The young learners of Senior KG interacted with the community helpers in a Fire Station on 25th November 2022, Friday.

As a part of our experiential program, such trips provide the learners with a deeper understanding of the topics taught in their classrooms.

 

MORNING ASSEMBLY

“The groundwork for all happiness is good health.”

The tiny tots of DPVN Kids engaged enthusiastically in a special assembly dedicated to mass physical training session and thoroughly enjoyed the energetic moves. The PT session was an introduction to the healthy way of living with a fit body and an alert mind. DPVN family has always exhibited special focus on the all-round development of the students through a well-balanced program of curricular and co-curricular activities. With the motivation of our respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs Ashu Rana, our dedicated team of PT instructors enable our students to transform into strong, confident leaders.

OUTDOOR EDUCATION

The tiny tots of DPVN Kids were taken outside the classroom for a tete-a tete with the different types of plants. The little learners were extremely excited to know about the various types of plants during the practical learning session. They were delighted to be able to see and feel the plants with the guidance of their educators that helped to add relevance to the curriculum and the topic taught in the classroom.

With the encouragement of our respected Principal Ma’am, we, as a team, always look for opportunities to provide our learners with enriching real-life experiences that enhance their understanding of the lessons.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

“Children are the hands by which we take hold of heaven.”

The staff and learners of DPVN Kids celebrated the Children’s Day with immense liveliness. The enthusiastic educators put up an extraordinary show that amazed the tiny ones. They were taken to the wonderland of magic and fun, and enjoyed the songs and dance presentations by their educators. The entire celebration got a new dimension with our respected Principal Ma’am addressing the little learners on this remarkable occasion.

 


NAVRATRI CELEBRATION

Let us celebrate this Navratri with euphoria and zest to welcome good times.
Wishing a very Happy Navratri to everyone.

The little learners of DPVN Kids celebrated Navratri, the festival of victory of good over evil, with their classmates and educators on 30th September 2022 with zeal and enthusiasm. Colourful attires and smiling faces of the tiny tots made the occasion vivid and bright. The vivacious celebrators were ecstatic to wish our beloved Principal Ma’am for the festival, and the day saw the little ones dancing in mirth and merriment as they participated in the Dandiya Performance.


GANESH CHATURTHI ACTIVITY

DPVN Kids celebrated the coming of Vinayaka with lots of enthusiasm and curiosity. The little learners got to know more about their Bappa with the help of tales and videos. They participated enthusiastically in Ganpati Making activity and were ecstatic to showcase their creativity


JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

Puppet Show on Janmashtami at DPVN Kids

At DPVN Kids, the learners had a unique experience of understanding the life of the Baby Krishna through the means of an entertaining and colourful puppet show organised for them on 18th August 2022, Thursdays. The educators, being guided by the respected Principal, presented the show that immediately took our innocent audience to the joyous world of the Supreme Being in the form of a little child which they could easily relate to. The kids also learnt the important lessons of eternal love and compassion for all through this amazingly engaging show.


FUN WITH CLAY

“Hands full of clay, and hearts filled with imagination”

Making the clay happy with the artistic touch of small innocent hands, the learners of DPVN Kids brought their creativity alive with ‘Fun with Clay’ activity. The little clay moulders of Senior KG also gave shape to small words with the clay dough.

The little angels of DPVN Kids weaved magic of spring in the air with their bright and colourful costumes while giving lessons worth learning. The tiny tots of Nursery dressed up as delicious fruits which was a visual treat for everyone. The junior masters of Junior KG took pride in displaying all the colours of Incredible India, and the kiddos of Senior KG set out to give the message to Save the Earth. All the learners were elated and highly motivated to have the gracious presence of our respected Principal, Mrs Ashu Rana. The Fancy Dress Competition was a refreshing way to relearn the lesson of right way to dress-up to express our thoughts and emotions.

Krishna Janmashtami at DPVN Kids

“If we learn to love Krishna, we can perfectly love others.”

The little learners of DPVN Kids celebrated the birthday of Lord Krishna with great devotion and enthusiasm on 19th August 2022, Thursday. The tiny devotees were overjoyed to express their feelings through vivid creativity with the help of drawings and paintings related to the theme of Krishna Janmashtami. The atmosphere of merriment and music brought alive the miraculous magic of the Supreme Lord and his incarnation as Baby Krishna on earth. With the support of our respected Principal, Mrs. Ashu Rana, the toddlers were provided with an environment that encouraged them not only to celebrate this divine occasion but also paved the way for them to relate to the life of little Krishna and understand its relevance in future.


INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

“My brain, body, soul feel ignited when I see those three ordinary colours merging extraordinarily.”

The tiny nationalists of DPVN Kids felt the fervour of freedom while getting engaged in the magic of the tricolour. Their unique creativity with the vivid colours of our National Flag filled everyone with intense patriotism.

 


RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION

Raksha Bandhan- a bond of love, a bond of togetherness.

The little learners of DPVN Kids celebrated Raksha bandhan with their creativity finding a way to the siblings’ hearts. Under the guidance of respected Principal, Ms Ashu Rana, the tiny-tots learnt the meaning of rakhi while employing their craft ideas to create one as a symbol of special bond and unity


NATIONAL DOCTOR’S DAY

The young musicians and music-lovers of DPVN Kids trying to discover the music of life through engaging fun-filled sessions to sing the song of their hearts. .

 


COLOURING COMPETITION

“Colours are brighter when the mind is open”.

We, at DPVN , believe that every child has an ocean of inner strengths and the only need is to develop these strengths. To nurture and channelize this immense power, it is necessary that proper environment, guidance, and encouragement should be provided. If a child gets all these in correct proportion, his/her hidden talents develop. Our main aim is to bring forth the genius that lies within.

DPVN Pre-Primary organized a Coloring Competition for the tiny artists.

Little ones have always fantasized about colors. And this became more evident as their colorful imaginations made the atmosphere interesting with creativity. Little learners participated with zeal and showed their talent. It helped them in exploring new ideas, creativity as well as understanding of colors.


CIRCLE TIME

Flash Cards- A Way to Effective Learning

Flash cards are time-proven aid to stimulate and enhance learning in the preschoolers. They are based on the concept of learning by visual processing that allows the young learners to engage in active recall, utilize their meta-cognitive faculties and promote confidence-based repetition.

At DPVN Kids, we acknowledge the significance of Flash Cards in encouraging the curiosity in learners regarding a topic and then striving to discover the answer. They can assess their performance too while using these cards as a learning tool in a play-way manner. Our learners thoroughly enjoy the sessions with these flash cards while learning new concepts in a very interesting manner.


“NEW YEAR,NEW BEGINNINGS.”

The beginning of new session is always an auspicious time-a time for new hopes and renewed dreams.

School assemblies plays a vital role by bringing the learners together ,cementing them under one roof, nurture a positive school ethos that stresses care for the self, others and the pursuit of all forms of excellence .It powerfully nurtures the development of intrapersonal intelligence and develop the unity among learners and the stakeholders which strengthens how the school works.

The welcome assembly commenced for the Pre-Primary section with the prayers, rhythmic moves by the educators for their learners on their favourite songs like “Wheels on the bus, Teddy bear, and Baby shark do do……the atmosphere was vibrant and provided joy and enthusiasm to the minds and souls.

Puppets are a source of endless joy and wonder in the minds of the pre-schoolers. Keeping this in mind, a special puppet show based on the story ‘The very hungry caterpillar’ was arranged by the educators.

Principal ma’am appreciated and motivated the little learners by calling them the future leaders for their energetic participation. Our tiny tots were delighted with the treasured words and enjoyed the day with new energy and fresh vibes.

Overall, it was an enriching experience for the learners and the educators…..

SCHOOL RE-OPENING

‘A new school year means new beginnings, new adventures, new friendships, and new challenges.’

After about two years of empty hallways and corridors we are overjoyed to welcome our beloved little learners back to school.


A well beginning always ensures a successful accomplishment. The very first day of these tiny tots in DPVN was a great start which was packed with boundless excitement and hopeful aspirations with welcome activities, music, games and a lot of excitement…. Seeing children back to school was a feast to our eyes…
It was a pleasure indeed for the Principal and the educators to have learners back. The wonderful gratify by their mentors, the welcoming ambience and a plethora of ice breaking sessions overwhelmed the enthusiasts on the day. The expression of joy was writ large on their faces and so was the excitement to be back together the following day.

We wish them a healthy stay with us and a promising future ahead!

FATHER’S DAY

“A father is the anchor upon which his children stand.”

Father’s Day, is a celebration honouring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, parental bonds and the role of fathers in shaping the lives of their children.
Our tiny tots celebrated this day in their own special way by making cards, writing testimonies, clicking pictures with their father to honor their hero.

 

YOGA DAY

“Yoga means having an easeful body, a peaceful mind and a useful life.”

The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind, body and soul. It brings physical and mental discipline, enhances concentration span, brings energy and vitality in the body. In today’s scenario, maintaining physical and mental health has become all the more important, and for that we need to train our little ones in the art of practicing yoga which is a comprehensive solution to good health and well-being.

To commemorate International Yoga Day, the learners were taught simple yoga postures and asanas in their fitness classes. They enthusiastically participated in the activity and enjoyed doing various Asanas, Pranayams, Dhayan – mudras which motivated them to make Yoga a part of their daily regime for attaining the goal of good health.

WATER POURING ACTIVITY

Water play activities help to develop and strengthen children’s gross and fine motor skills. Children enhance their gross motor skills, coordination and physical fitness through lifting, pouring, carrying, running and splashing, while actions such as squeezing help to develop the small muscles in a child’s hands.

READING DAY

“Books give wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, soul to the universe, and life to everything”

In order to celebrate the legacy of Late Shri. P.N. Panicker, the father of Library Movement, 19th June is observed as the Reading Day. Reading is the gateway skill that makes all other learning possible. When learners learn to read at an early age, they have greater general knowledge and a wider range of vocabulary.

ORIENTATION

“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents”

Orientation is combined with a notion and expectation of progress. Parents are co-educators in the development and growth of the child. The orientation program was planned for the parents of Pre-primary section for the Academic year 2022-23…

This orientation was beautifully interweaved with the ample information of the Management of DPVN, Infrastructure of the School, Facilities available for the overall development of the child, planned activities which helped the parents in understanding the regular flow of the day. Queries of the parents were addressed by the teachers. Overall the program was very nice.
