AURA - SCIENCE EXHIBITION

The brightness and magic of the DPVN
family came alive with Aura- the Science Exhibition hosted by the learners and
facilitators of DPVN on the National Science Day on 28th February 2022 under
the guidance of our respected Principal, Ms Ashu Rana. The exhibition was
graced by the presence of Mr. Yewale, the honorable Principal, Bharati
Vidyapeeth. It gave an immense pleasure to the learners to get the opportunity
to display various models of Science and explain it to the audience that
included esteemed guests as well as our ever encouraging parents.

 

 

MARATHI DIWAS CELEBRATION

With almost 90 million speakers worldwide, Marathi is the 15th most
commonly spoken language in the world. The Marathi Bhasha Din is a day marked
to celebrate the heritage of Marathi, a language that helped the people of
Maharashtra unite to fight the atrocities of the Mughal rule. The DPVN
community is proud to celebrate the Marathi Diwas with learners and educators
participating enthusiastically in showcasing the beauty and impact of the
language of millions of hearts! Respected Principal, Ms Ashu Rana encouraged
everyone to embrace the rich and invaluable tradition of Marathi language and
culture with gratitude and pride.

ANNUAL SPORTS PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY

The Prize Distribution Ceremony for
the 3rd Annual Sports Meet 2021-22 was organized on 21stFebruary,
Monday.

The program was graced by the
presence of the Hon’ble Principal, Ms. Ashu Rana. The beginning of the grand
event was marked by felicitation of the Principal by the respected
Section-Heads.

While the enthusiasm and curiosity to
see the winners on the stage filled the air with excitement, the gratification
of the winners could be perceptibly felt by the joyful audience as they
received their prizes from the Principal and the Section Heads.

The remarkable event concluded with
the Principal addressing the learners with a congratulatory message and
motivating words for all of them.

ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2021-22

DPVN CBSE celebrated the Annual Sports Meet 2021-22 on January 27th with great verve and joy. Honorable Managing Trustee of D. Y. Patil Group, Ms. Shivani V. Patil
graced the occasion with her presence as the Guest of Honour and respected
Principal, Ms. Ashu Rana presided over the event. The highlight of the event
was the participation of the teachers in the sports events alongside the
students. The mega event saw the presence of the DPVN community with great zeal
and fervour.

With the aim of honing the dancing skills of the
students a solo dance competition was held where the students performed
enthusiastically and presented their dancing skills.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Christmas is the time to share love and joy.

On this auspicious occasion the students of DPVN participated in various fun filled festivities of Christmas. Soaking in the spirit of the season, they gave the message of love, peace and harmony. 

INTER-HOUSE CHESS COMPETITION

Chess is not always about winning, sometimes it’s simply about learning, and so is life.

An Inter- house Chess Competition was organised for Grade VIII to XI on 2nd December, 2021 to provide a platform for students to improve on logical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem solving.

It was a great experience for the students and they got a good opportunity to display their skills.

IN-HOUSE QUIZ COMPETITION

If you’re a true warrior, competition doesn’t scare you. It makes you better.

The first offline In-house Quiz Competition was organised by the Senior Secondary Section in which four different houses, Trojans, Spartans, Knight and Samurai participated with great enthusiasm.

The students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. It was a very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience.

Although, all the houses actively participated, Spartans house bagged the first position.

DIWALI CELEBRATION

It’s the light within that will guide us through darkness. 
Light of diyas and gleam of their smiles…all we need to illuminate the world this Diwali…The students of DPVN celebrated the festival of lights by presenting an array of DIY activities.

VIRTUAL GANPATI CELEBRATION

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated annually to mark the birth of Lord Ganesha, the God of new beginnings and a fresh start.

In order to commemorate this joyous festival, the students of DPVN participated enthusiastically in various activities like singing devotional songs, creating garland with paper, a clay model of Lord Ganesha, and collage work. The sole purpose of the celebration was to let the students stay rooted in Indian Culture and to enable them to understand the significance of this festival.

HINDI DIWAS CELEBRATION

The Constituent Assembly of India had espoused Hindi as India’s official language on 14th September 1949. To show its significance and to celebrate its mark of acknowledgment, we commemorate Hindi Diwas on 14th September every year.

To celebrate this occasion and to inculcate a sense of sheer interest amongst the students for Hindi Language various activities were conducted like poem recitation, poster making, essay writing, etc. in which the students participated enthusiastically.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

“Janmashtami” is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.

To mark this occasion and to understand the importance of Lord Krishna’s teachings of life, the students of DPVN participated in the Janmashtami Day Celebration with great enthusiasm.

RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION

“RakshaBandhan” or “Rakhi Day” is a special occasion to celebrate and strengthen the bond of love between a brother and a sister.

To give an exposure to this spirit of our culture, the students of DPVN celebrated ‘RAKSHA BANDHAN DAY’ with great enthusiasm and made colourful Rakhi bands by using their own creativity.

75TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The 75th Independence Day was virtually celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Our students expressed their patriotic fervour by showcasing their talents in an array of fields like singing, dancing, acting, public speaking, etc. and also paid a tribute to the great heroes and architects of Independent India.

MASHUP MATH WEEK

Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations or algorithms: it is about understanding’. Mathematics expresses itself everywhere in almost every facet of life. It develops computational skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. With an aim to create interactive and interesting learning of Mathematics, DPVN recently organized ‘Maths Week’.

The students actively participated in various activities like a fancy dress on math theme, craft, Pictionary competition and also presented various models and charts on the different mathematical concepts.

21ST CENTURY SKILLS – MY DESK CALENDAR

DPVN Empowers learners with “21st Century Skills”. These future-ready skills are tools that can be universally applied to enhance ways of thinking, learning, working and living in the world.

Setting goals encourages students to take initiative to focus on their goals, measure their progress and provides a clear path to success.

The students of DPVN actively participated in the “JAR OF GOAL” activity by painting and decorating empty jars and spoke about their future goals.

21ST CENTURY SKILLS – JAR OF GOAL ACTIVITY

DPVN Empowers learners with “21st Century Skills”. These future-ready skills are tools that can be universally applied to enhance ways of thinking, learning, working and living in the world.

The students of DPVN actively participated in the “JAR OF GOAL” activity by painting and decorating empty jars and spoke about their future goals.

MONSOON CELEBRATION

“The first drops of rain always bring a smile on our faces”

‘Rainy Season’ or ‘Monsoon’ the beautiful season of the year is a gift of God to mankind. It revives our souls and fills the surroundings with the beauty of fresh greenery

To acknowledge this blessed gift of God; students of DPVN welcomed their Monsoon Season by engaging themselves in lots of fun-filled activities like collage making on umbrellas and origami.

FLAMELESS COOKING COMPETITION

Some people are just born to cook…. No one is born a great cook; one learns by doing!!!

The FLAMELESS COOKING competition was organized for the students of DPVN where they had a fun time cooking with healthy ingredients, harnessing their imagination and creativity.

The competition was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame, the necessity and advantages of healthy eating, and to encourage students to stay away from junk food.

SHOW N TELL ACTIVITY

DPVN Empowers learners with “21st Century Skills”. These future-ready skills are tools that can be universally applied to enhance ways of thinking, learning, working, and living in the world.

“Show n Tell”- structured activity was conducted under “21st -CENTURY SKILLS” for the students of grades 1 to 8.

The students showcased their talents by speaking about their pets, toys, and favorite belongings. They were very excited to speak and express their possessions.

This activity helped the students to build confidence, develop language and communication skills, and to create a sense of awareness and gratitude.

SNACK CHAT ACTIVITY

DPVN Empowers learners with “21stCentury Skills”. These future-ready skills are tools that can be universally applied to enhance ways of thinking, learning, working, and living in the world.

Good social skills allow children to enjoy better peer relationships. To develop language as well as social skills, young children need many opportunities to talk – with each other, with adults, one-on-one, and in a group. SNACK CHAT activity was conducted under “21st CENTURY SKILLS” for the students of grades 1 to 8.

Snack Chat is an unstructured activity where students can gather to have a free-roaming discussion while having their snacks. They had quality time with their friends by laughing and chatting with each other while having snacks.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY - COMPETITION

Earth is the only thing that the entire humanity shares……… So committing ourselves yet again to comfort the environment for the generation to come. Our Students actively participated in the environment day competition and tried to spread their message through words, colours, art and craft which showcased their awareness and concern for the environment.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY - JUNE 21, 2021

“Yoga is the methodology with which to unveil the miracle that exists right in front of our faces and inside ourselves.”

On the International Yoga Day, the students of Dnyanpushpa Vidya Niketan celebrated the invaluable gift of the ancient tradition of India virtually by demonstrating various postures of yoga.

Yogasana is a unique way to unite mind and body and find harmony in the entire creation;it isa journey from the external being to the soul within. Through yoga, the students are able to develop better mind-body balance, coordination, flexibility as well as higher concentration level and focus.

A critical phase like COVID 19 pandemic has made the world realise the need for Yoga more than ever for better physical and mental health and the students of DPVN were able to successfully convey this message to the world through their enthusiastic participation in the celebration.

NATIONAL READING DAY

“ Keep Reading. It’s one of the most marvelous adventures that anyone can have.” –Lloyd Alexander

The students of Dnyanpushpa Vidya Niketan celebrated the National Reading Day by reading a small excerpt of their favourite texts. This was a wonderful session where students not only displayed their love for reading but also let their spirits free through the magic of books. The students’ happiness and enthusiasm on being exposed to so many new ideas in this reading session brought forth once again the idea – ‘Today’s reader is tomorrow’s leader’.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY - EMPATHISING WITH ENVIRONMENT
