As a part of the DPVN’s Experiential Learning Program, the learners of D Y Patil’s DPVN CBSE, Navi Mumbai, recently visited a fire station. It was an exciting and educational experience for all the young, curious minds.
Guided by the vision of our most Respected Principal ma’am, the field trip was a perfect example of learning beyond the classroom. The learners explored the fire truck and the equipment firefighters use every day. They also learned essential fire safety tips directly from firefighters.
Through these hands-on experiences, DPVNites develope observation skills, curiosity, and awareness of community helpers — core goals of NEP’s vision for foundational and preparatory education.
Such events reflect DPVN’s commitment to the spirit of experiential learning, and ensure that learning goes beyond textbooks and into the world itself.
