The learners of D Y Patil’s DPVN CBSE, Navi Mumbai, were truly honoured to participate in the second edition of the special programme “Mitti Ki Awaaz” organised under the extraordinary leadership of the youth icon, impactful environmentalist, author and entrepreneur, Ms Rajlakshmi Vijay Patil, Founder, D-CAL.
The event began with a meaningful tree plantation drive, where DPVNites had the privilege of interacting and presenting saplings to the renowned actor and special guest, Shri Jackie Shroff. They also enjoyed the screening of the inspiring film, The Great Grand Superhero: Aliens Ka Aagman, in presence of the star-cast and director of the movie.
While the veteran actor encouraged our learners to nurture and care for plants, emphasizing their responsibility towards protecting nature, Ms Patil highlighted the importance of carbon-check in all the institutions, and reminded us that environmental responsibility must be a part of daily life – not just special occasions.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Hon Management for inspiring future generations to become responsible environmental stewards.
