World Book Day 2026-27

This year, at D Y Patil’s DPVN CBSE, Navi Mumbai, World Book Day 2026 was about more than just reading stories; it was about creating them.

Learners put down their reading glasses, picked up their authoring pens, and filled the pages with the most vibrant hues of their creativity. With colour paper, crayons, sketch pens, and endless imagination, every learner created a special expression of their unique voice – planning, writing, and illustrating their own mini-books. This activity brought NEP 2020’s vision of experiential and art-integrated learning to life, while nurturing essential 21st-century skills: creativity, communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence.

Our learners didn’t just open books – they created them. At the end of the day, students held their books like trophies. And in a way, they were. Not just a book – a dream that they carried.
